- We focus on helping our clients to be independent as possible, as appropriate for their age
- That the therapy provides a structured environment
- All treatment plans should include generalization to natural environments, such as the movies or store
- Places and emphasis on building communication skills
- ABA therapy should focus on teaching play/leisure skills and facilitating social opportunities
- A clinic should offer opportunity to practice mastered skills, as this helps to prevent regression
- An ABA clinic should offer a customized treatment plan for each client. No cookie cutters allowed!
- We work hard to ensure client consent is obtained before conducting assessments or implementing treatments behavior plans
